The C20 Summit 2015 will take place on 15th and 16th September 2015, at Bosphorus University in Istanbul. 400+ civil society delegates from around the world will come together to help shape civil society’s recommendations to the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Antalya, Turkey on 15th and 16th November. The C20 Summit will combine interactive and engaging methodologies with presentations by eminent experts and practitioners from around the world. Deadline for registration is August 7, 2015. Worldwide Initiatives for Grantmaker Support (WINGS) interviewed Başak Ersen, Secretary General of TUSEV, on his thoughts about the findings of Individual Giving and Philanthropy in Turkey Report. TUSEV’s General Assembly was held on November 25, 2016 with the participation of member organizations. In election held during the meeting, Deniz Ataç from TEMA Foundation was elected as the new Chairperson of the Board and Alparslan Tansuğ, Ayhan Ergin, Candan Fetvacı, Erdal Yıldırım, Gün Han Başik, Hasan Süel, İlhan Üttü, Mine Yıldız Günay and Selim Güven were elected as Board Members. For the vacant seats in the Auditing Committee, Canan Ercan Çelik and Mete Meleksoy were elected as Auditing Committee Members. In the meeting, Prof. Dr. Üstün Ergüder was bestowed Honorary Chairman of the Board and İnal Avcı was bestowed Honorary Board Member. For more information, please click here.
